A film by John Kerry: “Save Muslims” by Mousa Kraish

One of my favorite films growing up was “Ferris Bueller's Day Off.” A John Hughes Classic. An 80ʼs classic hand down. As the films hero goes on his adventure, slogans of “Save Ferris” appear throughout the film. On a water cooler in a High School hallway to the streets of Chicago and even at a Cubs ball game that Ferris just happened to be attending. Well, the year is 2009 and John Kerry has his own film adventure going on. He is starting a series of hearings to engage the Muslim Communities around the world. Kerry is going to “Save Muslims.”

This is to be the beginning of a series of hearings held by Chairman Kerry to foster improvement between the US and Muslim World. Man, does Kerry have a long road ahead of him. Talk about throwing a bag
of rocks on your shoulders and climbing the mountain. Unlike
Ferris, Kerry’s adventure might not have him with a smile along
the path he has chosen. Why? Well we seem to only go
backwards or stall relations with things we do not understand,
and something the American people might not want to
understand. Muslims and the crazy thing they call Islam. I mean,
this is a great thing that Kerry is trying to accomplish but to what
means? That American might add a badge of “hey I hung with a
Muslim” to the boy scouts league?

There is so much more that America can do instead of
having hearings. Why not open honest to goodness talks with
Hamas and Hezbollah and treat them as they do Israel. Why not
go take a look at what the Bush Administration did with Iraq and
actually fix what we caused. I say us because I am an American.
It’s what gives me the right to freely write the way I do without
regret. There is so much we can do than just have hearings. If
we are to really build relationships, than we have to open doors
with the same people whose countries we devastated for our own
best interests. These “hearings” should have happened 15 years
ago.

But, then again, they are happening now. So, I cannot
condemn Mr. Kerry; only applaud him. He is opening himself up
to conservatives who are going to go on the attack, maybe even
call him a traitor for such a thing. I recommend Kerry just give
the good ole Ferris smile, hop on a float during a parade that’s
held in the Gaza strip and sing “twist and shout” surrounded by
Palestinians singing along. Ahh, the future looks bright.

Fashion in the mid east has always been there, we just never knew where to look.

When celebrities find themselves out of touch and need something new, something to help them stand out. Nothing says "stand out" then getting the fasion advice from a young Palestinian who just makes due with what he or she has, and makes it look good.

I asked young Karim, who stands center tall between his friends what his inspiration is. "I find that when I wake up in the morning to make the mile run to school without getting shot, or having to walk the flock of sheep from one valley to the next, I need to walk out of my house with style. My style usuaally comes from what my mother puts out, or what was handed down to me by my siblings." Clearly, Karim makes it work.

His style can be found in almost every up and coming hot rock band of the moment, or the young kids taht seem to follow in the states. "Fashion, is something you don't aspire to have, you just do," Karim says as goats milk is squirting into a tin can by his hands of course.

This is the perfect example of the young trend setters life. He just leads, never follows.

So, some of you might be like, what is the deal with the title. Happy Hardon Harry. Who is that? Well to all you young people in the world of the Angry Happy Arab, it's the main character that Christan Slater played in "Pump Up the Volume." Awesome fucking movie. A shy kid by day, a pirate disc jockey by night. Saying what's on his mind to free the people in a small Suburban Arizona neighborhood.

Yeahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! I say it again "Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Hold on people....I just got to the scene where Samantha Mathis takes her shirt off. Amazing tits. Count to 10 for me ladies and gents, it's all I really need. (Sorry ladies.) Ok, done. Back to my point. HHH is a representation of what we should be saying to the world.

The politics today, it feels like we never left high school right? Always trying to figure out what is next in our life. The world still has it's camps. Democrats on the stairs, Republicans hanging out by the lockers. The Independents smoking joints in the bathroom stall. So which camp is the voice of the people? We are all worried, we are all in pain. But can't getting any fucking worse, cause it only gets better, right? Maybe I am just spouting some shit, but maybe I'm making sense to someone out there.

I came home today and got things done in my everyday life. I paid my bills and made sure the rent was in. I wrote, just cause I need to do it, even if it uninspired. Practice. But, I still have a emptiness in my stomach. Not sure what that is. Always hungry, always want more. But that is a good thing right? We should all want to aspire to something. That thought inspires me. I love the Republican swinging there shit out there, because they want. I love the Democrat for that too, because they want. I love the crack hustler on the Brooklyn Street corner, cause they want. Why aren't artists that way? They want, but it's a different type of want isn't? The ones that make it, other artists go and say," oh, they're commercial. Not keeping it real" What the fuck does that mean?!?!? Hustle baby. You paint, figure a way to sell that shit. You sing, figure away to have someone give you a dollar to hear you sing. You act, shit, figure away to be a star. But here is the thing...don't fucking suck! Cause then you're wasting our mother fucking time. HAH!!!!!!!! Ok...come on baby, come on baby ringing in my ear like Saigon's new track. Love life, love death, love it all.

Well, it has come upon us here in California. Super Tuesday, the day where we go out and officially nominate a delegate. You all must be wondering, well who is Mousa gonna vote for. I thought that myself how do I figure this out Hillary slept with our last cool president so must of learned a thing or two in the bedroom. Obama is a brother and looks like he can have a mean game on the basketball court. Ron Paul, well the man loves Palestinians so that is a big plus and McCain reminds me of that cooky old man living next door to me that threw beer bottles at us when we was growing up in Brooklyn. But my favorite so far, Huckabee. Now, some of you might say, Huckabee?!? Mous, is you crazy you muthaf$#4er? Come on America, show me a delegatethat has Chuck Norris scratch and sniff stickers at the voting booth. Does Obama, does Hillary? No, my man Huckabee does. He has good ole Norris standing behind him in every campain. The man fought Bruce Lee. If you have five dollars and Chuck Norris has five dollars, guess who has more money, Chuck Norris. I'm not saying all these cool facts about Chuck Norris to dissuede your vote...well I kinda am, but come on America, do hate freedom?!?! So go a vote, make a selection, and know that, again not trying to influence the vote, but a scratch and sniff sticker is a rare thing these days. And so is a good canadate. (Just in case there are people who take this too seriously, my vote is Obama. Hope people.)

I am a bad person AngryHappyARAB community. I haven't been on in awhile. I have been afflicted with the disease known as "writers laze." It's a horrible horrible disease. How is everyone in the world? Ok, what have I been up too? Well, I ran naked in a Adam Sandler movie, and am currently trying to save the world with Jennifer Connely, but here is my real dream for 2008. To be in Fast and the Furious 4. Yes, good ole Justin LIn is making a new one and ever since the first one, I just wanted to be in a fast car going vroom. And why not? Why can't a bearded feller like myself be in big cars that go vroom. Men love it, the ladies love it, and guess what...so do the bearded people of the STINE (Palestine that is.) So, let xcross the fingers ladies and gents. On a more amazing note, my short film screened last week to some really amazing people in Hollywood. The response left me feeling like a gitty school girl. (I apologize in advance if that is offensive to other school girls.) The film played really well in the theater and well..simply felt good to put your work out there for others to see, judge, love or hate. I'll keep you all updated for the first festival screening.

What else? Oh, let's talk about what is happening in the STINE. Ok, wTF?!!? Is it really not obvious that people are being denied food in this part of the world not because of lack of, but because one culture doesn't like the other. Hmm, reminds me of a little place called Germany under some crazy fucker who didn't like the other. Come on. Everyone has the right to live. Whatever your view on the world is, religiously or politically, it shouldn't detour us from being human. That's my two cents.

Oh, last but not least. Go see RAMBO. I love Stalone, and this has to be the funniest fucking movie he has made to date. Seriously, don't go in thinking your going to watch art. It is Rambo people, enjoy it. Great effects, and please for any other movie I wouldn't promote this, but you have to be involved, be loud and really cheer Rambo on. Make's the movie so much fun.

I bring this to my readers. Whether you're an Arab or not.

Lots of shit is going on in the world, and the mid-east is the hotbed of hotbeds. I've been lucky enough to be born and raised in the United States, but what does that freedom entail. Is it okay for us to stop people in the subways of NYC or Spain just because they look like a certain type?

This is all from my frustrated angry head. Hence, the blog. So, I bring it to the community. Start to write your thoughts, add what you want to say, see, and hear from the Arab Community.
